Functionality

The are three phases in Enalyzer Survey Solution:

1. Questionnaire
2. Launch
3. Analysis

These three phases reflects the workflow you experience when conducting a survey. Below you will find a specification of the features within Enalyzer Survey Solution. For a full listing of all system features, please see our online manual.

1. Questionnaire

Build various questions:
You quickly establish the questionnaire with all the different types of questions, you want to ask. Enalyzer support many different types of questions, i.e.: single, multiple, matrix, 3D matrix, space for texting, open questions and so on. Within each question type you are allowed to specify numerous variables such as mandatory replying, individual visual design, page breaks, video and picture uploads and much more.

Use our question library:
Build questions quickly from your own library or by the use of Enalyzers predefined survey templates.

Routing:
It is not always that respondents should be asked the same questions. With the ‘jump’ function you can choose, which answers should guide the respondent through the questionnaire. With ‘conditioned questions’ you decide which conditions should be fulfilled for exposing the next question to the respondent. For instance a respondent is only exposed to a question if he is ‘male’, in the age of ’15-25 y.o.’ and is from the ‘countryside’. Conditions can be adjusted on the basis of previous answers or on predefined information already registered on the respondent.

Dynamic question content:
Here prior answers or other predefined information are weaved in the question text. This is commonly used in i.e. HR surveys, where there is a need for to show the name of a certain manager before the respondents answers. Or if a question, needs to include previous answers.

Language versions:
You are able to construct many different language versions within the same project. This means that your questionnaire can be constructed on many languages simultaneously, but administered as one project with one launch, reminders etc. Simultaneously all data are stored within the same project, allowing immediate comparisons of all data.

Enalyzer Survey Solution allows respondents to answer in all languages.

Adjust to own corporate design (logo, colors, etc.):
The questionnaire can be graphically adjusted to the company’s own corporate design: colors, font types, logo, etc. It’s completely customizable and if needed, without any Enalyzer branding.

Choose questionnaire navigation:
Select which navigation buttons should be visible for the respondents in the questionnaire: Back-forward, help, print answers, progress bar, language and so on.

Word paper questionnaire:
Click on just one button and your electronic questionnaire will be transferred to Word with check boxes for answers and other layouts. It will immediately be distributable as a paper handout to respondents.

2. Survey launch

Contact Groups:

Employees, clients and other important relations can be typed in manually or imported directly into the system. Here you “attach” all kinds of background information to respondents such as, demographics, organizational level and customer type. Eventually these information’s can guide the questionnaire (dynamic and conditioned questions) and/or be used within the analysis for report breakdowns, benchmarks etc.

E-mail module:
With the e-mail module, you are able to launch an e-mail for your questionnaire, remind persons, who haven’t responded and so on. This e-mail module can weave letters, make unique links to the questionnaire and launch e-mails in many different languages.

Furthermore it will be possible to check each e-mail before launch while the system controls and alerts for possible errors within these.

Various publication methods of a survey:
E-mail invitation, link to questionnaire, pop-up survey and paper handouts. ESS deals with all the different methods to participate in your survey. So let’s say you don’t have the e-mail addresses on all your respondents, you just choose an alternative way to participate in the specific questionnaire. Another advantage is that you are allowed to combine the various publication methods within a survey project.

Multi Launches:
Launch the same survey several times. This is specifically used to separate certain groups in the survey, make a benchmarking report, repeat a survey quickly, etc.

Overview of survey accomplishment:
View a detailed survey accomplishment for all respondents in the survey. How many participants? How many have replied? How many are incompletes? How many did not wish to participate? Make further break downs to the level of department, clients and so forth.

Levels of anonymity:
Remind persons who haven’t answered - and without knowing who they are. This is governed by the system alone. Of course you are also able to conduct non-anonymous surveys in order to locate individual replies.

Edit during the accomplishment of survey:
When the questionnaire is actually up and running there might be a need for making some adjustment or correct errors. For instance if a question has been spelt incorrectly, you need an additional question or you need other graphic elements on the survey.

3. Analysis

Frequency, cross and other statistics:
Create reports with graphics and tables that clearly show the survey results. Analyze differences between departments, include statistics such as average and deviation, benchmark between survey launches and much more.

The reports are easily constructed by predefined templates or by individual choices.

Online and Excel reports:
All reports are shown online and can be directly extracted in complete designed Excel reports with colored graphics and tables. Open answers are presented in Word reports and the system contains the possibility to save own design templates.

Publishing of results:
Publish just one or several of your reports to the Intranet. Additionally the publishing functionality allows to password protect reports, use SSL encryption and much more.

Report filters:
You are able filter your report on many levels at the same time. I.e. if you wish to break down a report on your question parameters or predefined information such as gender, manager or customer type.

These filters can also be constructed and saved on the basis on survey information. For instance filter1 consist of: a) males b) between 20-25 years of age c) who lives in the US.

Recoding the answers:
Edit and rename response options, merge question scales, weight responses and recode open answers to new variables. All these features are extremely powerful and come in handy when you dig into the reporting.

Export of data:
Click one button and export the entire data set in all kinds of formats such as XML, CSV and Excel. This allows and immediate integration with other crucial business systems such as CRM, ERP and CMS.
