We naturally offer the three most common approaches to leadership evaluation with 180, 270 and 360 degree perspectives. In addition to this we can also widen the horizon with the added insight of our external benchmark.
A good leadership evaluation has to balance both:
People management: This is the degree to which a leader considers the needs of team members, their interests, and areas of personal development when deciding how best to accomplish a task.
Production management: This is the degree to which a leader emphasizes concrete objectives, organizational efficiency and high productivity when deciding how best to accomplish a task.
The Enalyzer Leadership Performance model consist of 45 questions in 12 general themes that capture both People management and Production management.
The model rests heavily on both the general literature on leadership and on practical experience from a wide range of leadership performance surveys in Scandinavia.
The model can be modified to fit your organization and your leadership values.
Leadership performance evaluations can be done in various ways depending on the number of relations but it always involves a self-evaluation by the team leader.
180 degrees: There is just one other relation evaluating the team leader. This can be direct reports, colleagues or the manager
270 degrees: There is two other relations evaluating the team leader. This can be direct reports, colleagues and/or the manager
360 degrees: All three other relations (direct reports, colleagues and the manager) evaluating the team leader.
450 degrees: The 360 evaluation is supplemented with an external benchmark on the direct reports. Enalyzer provides direct report benchmark on 10 central leadership questions.
The philosophy behind the Enalyzer Reporting is to provide the team leaders with a tool where the time is used on constructive dialogue and not on understanding the report.
The reports are therefore designed to maximize usability and ease:
